Roles and Responsibilities:

· Responsible for the design, building, testing, implementation, and maintenance of all technology associated with IT Contracts operations.

  • Responsible for updating and maintaining the IT Contracts Intake Form
  • Perform data analysis of trends on spend, vendors, contract types, etc.
  • Generate periodic and ad hoc reports including on KPIs
  • Maintain documentation and track IT Sole Source procurements
  • Provide backup to IT Finance staff for key functions including initiating requisitions and serving as the Buyer of NPOs (Non-Procurement Purchase Orders).
  • Administer the Request for Quote process for IT services and products under the NJT Delegated Purchasing Authority limit as assigned. Operate as an IT Contracts Specialist within the IT Contracts department.
  • Collects data on internal factors such as spend and stakeholder requirements analysis
  • Collects data on external factors such as industry and market dynamics, and products/services trends
  • Develop and maintain IT Contracts document repository. Train team members as needed.
  • Assist in development of procurement packages:
  • Analyze and improve processes for the IT Contracts team

Education, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration computer and/or related area from a US Department of Education accredited college, and a minimum of 6 months aggregate experience in one or more of the following areas: e-procurement, sourcing, contract management.
  • In lieu of degree, 4.6 years' work experience in a procurement function.

  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills; able to communicate technical and business information to diverse stakeholders.
  • Team-oriented, approachable, and able to elicit customer engagement.
  • Strong multi-tasking ability; able to identify and balance competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated understanding of common daily business processes
  • Fluent understanding of business process analysis and process mapping
  • Experience performing analytical work in a large-scale computer system.
  • Demonstrated strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to “think outside of the box” to research and resolve problems.
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills using Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn other technologies
  • Highly self-driven; able to work with minimal supervision.
