Roles and Responsibilities:

Manages the Response Center's day-to-day operations, including administration and support for field station and terminal facility matters.
Interacts with several departments: Engineering, Transportation, Rail Field Revenue, and NJTPD also will act as a liaison with the local municipalities.
Manages Reports and Notifies NJ Transit personnel of station damage, vandalism, ticket office issues, alarm malfunctions, station closures, and mark-offs.
Oversees the Prepared and Daily Activity reports and Various monthly reports prior to distribution.
Manages coverage for the Newark and Hoboken Division Stations Department and assistance to the Rail Field Revenue Department with coverage on the Extra Boards and daily mark-offs.
Enforces departmental policies and procedures for the Response Center staff.
Ensures applicable labor agreements related to agreement employees are being followed.
Training Response Center staff in database applications and programming as needed.
Monitors Response Center personnel absenteeism and discipline or other reports as needed.

Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

An associate degree.
Supervisory experience is a requirement.
A Minimum of 5 years of experience in Rail Operations.
One year of relevant experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
Additional desirable qualifications include experience in Operations, Facilities Management, or Transportation.

Knowledge and Skills:

Proficient in the MS Office Suite with the ability to manipulate databases and generate reports.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with organizational and leadership abilities.
Knowledge of the TCU Agreement is a plus

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
