Job Summary:

Nixco Plumbing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Utility Superintendent to oversee the company's Site Utility Department. The Site Superintendent will be responsible for managing all aspects of the department, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities, including subcontractors and vendors
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
• Provide guidance and support to the Site Utility team, including training and mentoring to ensure maximum development
• Monitor project progress according to plans and contract documents and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely completion
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise
• Maintain accurate documentation of project activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and change orders
• Create and support customer and supplier relationships for the purpose of continuation of project sales and to provide the highest level of expertise and support for construction projects

Qualifications:

• Five (5) years’ experience in upper management of an excavation-based department with progressive responsibilities or two (2) or four (4) year construction/business management degree or some combination of the above
• Proficient in reading blueprints, drawings, and renditions while calculating costs associated with a project and effectively communicating such information
• Ability to identify and prioritize construction, operation, financial and Nixco personnel problems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
