Duties and Responsibilities:
The following represents essential functions of the Operations Manager but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or re-assign duties and responsibilities at any time.

• Manage, implement, and improve safety and quality standards ensuring that work is being done safely and while adhering to quality control standards. Identify areas of improvement and implement continuous improvement plans accordingly.
• Oversee the planning and scheduling of production processes, including the availability of material, equipment, and labor
• Maintain inventory, working closely with production planners and purchasing, ensuring that inventory control measures are in place to secure material availability, ensuring continued production.
• Ensure required machinery is working and being utilized safely and to optimum Work with vendors and technicians to ensure limited downtime of machines.
• Ensure the production flow meets demand and the work produced meets quality control Inspect work and processes as needed and identify and implement any continuous improvements. Conduct studies and/or produce reports identifying and implementing effective approaches to improve processes.
• Work closely with planning, sales, and quality assurance to ensure production orders meet customer and business
• Meet or exceed budgeted performance goals and objectives in the areas of productivity, accuracy, and expense
• Understand and use manufacturing and fulfillment technology (i.e. WMS where appropriate, hardware and software components) and maintain control of department functions and procedures.
• Supervise production personnel to ensure attendance and performance meet the job duties and expectations Address, with department supervisors, any departmental or individual issues that need to be resolved.
• Participate in the hiring and development of the manufacturing team, from entry level to management, through continued coaching and
• Direct, support and delegate tasks to production teams and provide consistent and thorough Conduct timely Performance Evaluations and deliver appropriate positive feedback and/or disciplinary action when necessary. Motivate production personnel by providing attainable goals and rewards for team and individual performance/contributions.
• Build relationships, as needed, with vendors, contractors, and other outside resources to ensure operations are not hindered by material shortages, machine issues, etc. Coordinate any supply needs, services, or repairs through the proper channels.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent experience.
Previous supervisory experience of 5-7 years working in manufacturing environment required. Proficiency operating Microsoft Office programs including AX preferred.
Technical understanding of manufacturing equipment required.
Supervisory Responsibility:
20-40 Hourly employees
Physical Requirements:
Standard manufacturing environment, frequent standing and walking. Some lifting/team lifting. Limited Exposure to environmental conditions.
Environmental Exposure:
Occasionally exposed to exhaust fumes or other airborne particles and other potentially hazardous solvents and chemicals.
