What will you do as an accountantat Nitterhouse?

• Assist with journal entries and general ledger preparation
• Compile, analyze, and report financial data
• Assist with month end procedures
• Perform monthly budget analysis on active jobs
• Perform monthly inventory adjustments
• Serve as backup to accounts payable and receivable
• Contribute in the ongoing effort to reduce production costs

What are the knowledge, skills, and abilities we are looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to analyze data and make recommendations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Where and when will you be working?

This position will operate out of our corporate office in Chambersburg, PA. This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday, from 8:00 to 4:30.
