Nissin Precision North America, Inc. is a metal stamping and welded assembly facility located in Englewood, Ohio.

We are looking for a forklift operator that loads, unloads, and moves materials within the plant and furnishes material for the production area by performing the following duties:

· Operates industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.

· Provides daily monitoring and reporting of inventory to assure accurate inventory amounts.

· Responsible for accurate paperwork completion and verification of bills of lading, packing lists, and comparison of items received against the packing sheet.

· Provides accurate labeling in inventory part numbers and quantities.

· Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.

· Unloads incoming trucks and locates materials to the appropriate area.

· Loads finished goods onto trucks according to shipping orders and schedules.

· Counts, weighs, and records number of units of material moved or handled on daily production sheet.

· Attaches identifying tags or labels to material or marks information on cases, pallets, or other containers.

· Uses the overhead hoist to change battery for electric forklift truck on an as needed basis. Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment when performing this function.

· Lifts objects by hand or powered forklift truck, and cleans work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators.

· Performs daily industrial truck inspection check sheet prior to use.

· Checks battery cables and battery fluid level prior to use and fill water level as needed.

· Responsible for warehouse sanitation and housekeeping function.

· Dumps scrap hoppers as needed.

· Removes finished product from production area and takes it to shipping & receiving area or finish packaging and put away in finished goods area.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

One to three years shipping and receiving experience.
