Nissha Medical Technologies is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor/MRO Buyer to join our Colorado Springs Team!

This position is responsible for supervising the warehouse team and MRO buying. Selects suppliers, negotiates pricing, develops and administers contracts, develops strategic suppliers, improves large spend categories and major business processes, delivers annual improvements in total cost, quality, and service. Primary responsibilities include completing related purchase orders and reports, maintaining related documents, monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with departments to ensure that operations are smooth and uninterrupted.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES (other duties as assigned):

• Follow all employee guidelines and Quality Systems Regulations (QSR’s) as defined by Nissha Medical Technologies practices, policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) to ensure that customer requirements and FDA (or equivalent) regulations are met.
• Demonstrate knowledge and act in accordance with NMT’s Employee Guidelines and applicable quality standards as outlined in NMT’s Quality Manual.
• Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment.
• Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse.
• Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with management team.
• Coordinate and lead cost savings and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Audit and report inventory levels.
• Provide a component availability check list prior to releasing orders to the shop floor and perform follow-up on all raw material shortages.
• Coordinate customer expedite requests with various functional departments.
• Purchase, and expedite materials as needed, Maintain appropriate stocking levels for raw materials and finished goods.
• Ensure on time delivery of purchases and communicate/ resolve quality issues and other supplier performance problems.
• Maximize inventory turns and minimize inventory carrying cost while maintaining customer expectations.
• Interact with the Production Team and Planners to ensure that production schedules can be executed in the planned time frame regarding capacity and material availability.
• Abide by all safety and security rules set forth by the company and regulatory agencies
• Regular attendance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related degree area with minimum 5 years of related work experience.
• Or High School Diploma with a minimum 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and at least 5 years related purchasing and warehouse experience.
• Experience within manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of vendor sources, products, and purchasing procedures.
• Understanding of production processes.
• Strong planning and problem-solving skills.
• Well organized.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Experience working within ERP system
• Able to operate PC and related programs (e.g. Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel).
• Able to operate forklift and all related warehouse equipment.

The established Compensation for this position will be $60,000 to $75,000 per year (paid on a bi-weekly basis) depending on qualifications and experience.
