Our client, an Architect firm that has been around over four decades continues to experience continued growth and why they are seeking to add several new positions to their growing team in Dallas, Texas and looking to add another Specification/Technical Writer to the team! This person must have experience with construction development, that includes codes, regulations for local, state and federal, etc., to be qualified. This is not an IT technical writer.
Position Overview:

Specification Writer -
Key responsibility for the Specification/Technical Writer is coordinating and producing project manuals, which includes research, code reviews, system research and assisting with material selection.
Key Qualifications for the Specification/Technical Writer:
10 years of experience in the design & construction industry with 5 years of experience as a Specifications Writer.
CSI, CCS, or CSI CCCA, preferred
Technical knowledge of architectural systems
Strong understanding of accessibility codes, life-safety codes, education codes, required.
