Essential Responsibilities/Duties
  • Responsible for the preparation of application equipment, calibration, and operating to apply coating samples for R&D testing.
  • Operates laboratory testing equipment related to coating quality confirmation.
  • Responsible for the preparation and sprays application of panels & collects data
  • Communicates discrepancies to supervisor, Technical Team, Laboratory Manager or Chemists
  • Conducts other sample on application system as specified by customer
  • Utilize appropriate safety methods, cleanliness and maintenance of equipment
  • Prepares data collection results and consults with supervisor as needed
  • Meets ISO/TS/Honda/Toyota and other customer's standard operating procedures in all activities performed
  • Responsible for equipment maintenance per schedule.
Additional Responsibilities/Duties
•Assist other departments as needed
•Perform other duties and handle special projects as assigned
  • Participates in 6S and other corporate initiatives
Education
Required
Minimum High School Diploma
Alternative
Equivalent of a High School Diploma
Experience
0-5 years of previous coating application preferred
Specific Skills
•Ability to perform mathematical conversions
•Good communication, written and organizing skills
•Basic skills in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc...)
Supervisory Responsibility

Working Conditions
Office, application booth, Laboratory, Production
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 45lbs
