Nine Zero Properties is Hiring a Residential Housekeeper Near Lincoln, NE
Reporting to the Property Manager, this position is responsible for property housekeeping and make-ready support during unit-turns for the property. The position is typically Monday - Friday, daytime hours. During winter weather, the incumbent of this role is required to arrive early to assist with inclement weather activities – icing, cleaning/drying floors and walkways, etc. Very occasional on-call work is also a function of the position to support emergency matters.
Job Type: Full-time
Hourly Wage: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Daytime hours
Work Location: In person
Responsibilities:
- Clean floors with mop, vacuum, broom, or carpet shampooer
- Clean interior windows/glass doors
- Follow procedures for use of chemical cleaners and equipment for safety and to prevent damage to property
- Gather and empty trash bins
- Mix water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications
- Maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment needed for cleaning
- Service, clean and supply restrooms
- Keep property free of debris and trash
- Clean/sanitize any communal areas i/e gym, tables, countertops, elevators, door handles, couches, chairs, etc.
- Assist with unit make-ready which may include safely and properly lifting and moving furniture and other like duties
- Communicate with residents, coworkers, and members of the management team
- Help contribute to a positive resident experience by always presenting a professional image and helpful attitude
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform job duties without accommodation
- Ability to follow instructions for safety purposes
- The incumbent of this position must show up to work in a timely fashion
- Work experience and/or proven ability to perform duties described for the position
- Must have a self-started, can-do attitude
- Proven attention to detail with quality of work
- Experience with and ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all residents and coworkers while working in a team environment
