As a Data Integration Developer, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of data integration solutions across various data management systems. This role involves working closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless data flow and access, supporting data-driven decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data integration pipelines
  • Work with various databases and data formats to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data according to business requirements
  • Write complex SQL queries for SQL Server database systems and perform data analysis to support data quality and integrity
  • Collaborate with data analysts and other stakeholders to understand data needs and implement integration solutions accordingly
  • Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data integration process
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data integration processes, data models, and data mappings.
  • Optimize data integration workflows for performance and scalability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration processes
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies and practices in data integration and recommend improvements to existing processes
  • Collaborate with data architects, modelers, and IT team members on project goals

Requirements

Who you are!

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Proven experience as a Data Integration Developer or similar role
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MS SQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Experience with data integration tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica, SSIS)
  • Proficient in Python programming for scripting and automation purposes
  • Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus
  • Understanding of data modeling and ETL processes
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, C , Scala, etc
  • Knowledge of data warehousing solutions and architectures
  • Experience with API integrations and web services
