What you’ll be doing! 

Currently seeking a Charge Poster to join our Charge Posting team, this person will be responsible for analyzing charge entry data to ensure that complete charts have been provided, and then entering the data into applicable practice management systems for each appropriate facility within 24 hours of receipt of the charge sheet. Acute attention to detail and a high level of organization, as well as an ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality are critical competencies required to be successful in the role. 

Requirements

Who you are: 

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Detail oriented
• Organizational skills
• Computer knowledge
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of commonly used insurance billing concepts
• Experience using Epic is highly preferred
• Ability to be in office or remote
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality policies (both medical and financial)
• Participates in departmental, training and staff meetings
• Adhere to all compliance policies and procedures
• All other job duties upon request
• Reliable transportation
• Uses telephone, computer, ten key, fax, copier equipment 
• Works on personal computer
• Ability to work in moderately noisy environment with frequent interruptions (if in office)
• Ability to remain seated for majority of day in a cubicle setting with general office lighting (if in office)
• Ability to perform other job duties upon request
