Job Summary: 

As a Change Management Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring successful organizational transitions by driving effective change management practices across the company. We are seeking an experienced Change Management Lead to join our team and lead all aspects of change management initiatives. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of change management principles and methodologies, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The Change Management Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing change management strategies, creating communication plans, coordinating training programs, and ensuring successful adoption of changes by both employees and stakeholders. 

Responsibilities:

  • Update and expand the current stakeholder list and quickly come up to speed on Nimble team scope and roles, client scope and work completed to date
  • Develop and execute on the Change Management Plan (2024).
    • Lead and develop change management strategies and plans to support changes, including process improvements, technology implementations, and standardizing how users work in the new world
  • Co-Facilitate group workshops during our discovery phase of this transformation effort with subject matter experts. Preference to those experienced in innovation thinking and moving clients to think out of the box for visioning workshops.
  • Design and Deliver Roadshows or “summits” on key changes to come
  • Prepares presentations of the project’s findings to client Governance teams
  • Prepares presentations of the project’s findings to External Conferences
  • Establish and track key change management metrics and provide regular reports to leadership on the progress and effectiveness of change initiatives.
  • As the health metric owner: develop and deliver SME surveys and other surveys (ad hoc) as needed, conduct and track monthly health check meetings (core project team only) and comply with client enterprise change management team requirements
  • Provide coaching and support to leaders and managers to enable them to effectively lead their teams through change.
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in change management, and continuously improve change management processes and approaches.

 Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, organizational psychology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Change Management certification and/or formal coursework/degree.
  • Proven experience (10 years) in leading change management initiatives, preferably in a hybrid role involving both on-site and remote work environments and promote engagement across a hybrid environment .
  • Demonstrated experience leading change management end-to-end through the entire lifecycle across multiple projects and industries
  • Strong knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to analyze complex situations, identify opportunities and risks, and develop effective strategies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and constantly changing environment.
  • During Onboarding: Come up to speed quickly on case for change, technology and process changes in progress and client stakeholders; Able to use remote access and client tools effectively within the first few weeks. Review and improve existing collateral for 2024.

Requirements for the Nimble team

  • Available to start work in January 2024 (assuming client contract approved by this time).
  • Must be available full-time during client office hours (Pacific time) typically 9am-5pm, with flexibility as needed.
  • Work is 70% remote, 30% onsite at client offices (Oakland, San Ramon- California); ~ 6 days per month (can fluctuate)
  • Consultant is: already residing in the bay area or lives in CA (W Coast) and willing to travel to be onsite as required below.
