Niles Cedar Lane/WAY Principal and Niles Adult Education Coordinator
Reports to: Superintendent (or designee)
Full-time position for 2024-2025 school year (45weeks)
Niles Community Schools is looking for a dynamic alternative education principal and adult education coordinator. Highly-effective communication skills and professionalism required for daily interaction with a diverse workforce, student population, building administration and community.
Required Qualifications:
● Master's degree or higher, preferably in Educational Leadership.
● A valid state certificate to practice as a secondary school principal.
● At least five years of successful experience as a classroom teacher.
● Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Proven leadership ability in school administration and elementary education evaluation and supervision
● Strong background in curriculum and instruction
Performance Responsibilities (non-prioritized):
● Promote continuous improvement in student achievement
● Promote a positive learning environment
● Possess excellent communication skills
