Position Overview:
As a Restaurant Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment they enter our restaurant. Your primary role will be to greet guests, seat them at their tables, assist with any needs they may have, and manage the flow of the dining area to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner as they arrive at the restaurant.
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
• Help guests with seating arrangements and accommodate any special requests.
• Assist guests with moving chairs, if needed, to ensure their comfort at the table.
• Communicate effectively with guests to understand their preferences and any special requirements.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a tidy and organized reception area, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to hygiene standards.
• Assist in coordinating with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure timely seating and service.
• Provide accurate wait times and manage guest expectations during busy periods.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and courteously, escalating issues as necessary.
• Collaborate with the management team to implement restaurant policies and procedures effectively.
• Uphold a high level of professionalism and hospitality at all times, reflecting the restaurant's brand and values.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service orientation with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Knowledge of restaurant reservations software is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must dress appropriately.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
