Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the Manager in daily operations, staff management, and customer satisfaction.
Duties:
- Manage daily store operations under the guidance of the Manager
- Assist in training, and supervising staff
- Oversee employee orientation and provide ongoing coaching
- Support with scheduling
- Collaborate with the Manager on marketing strategies to drive sales
- Collaborate with the Manager on interviews for new hires
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering and restocking
- Ensure excellent customer service standards and engagements are met
- Contribute to sales management and achieving store targets
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in food retail or a similar industry
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and POS systems
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience with ServSafe certification food safety knowledge
- Familiarity with dessert or food related services
- Knowledge of store management practices and procedures
