Nike Adapt Distribution Center (Byhalia, MS)
Shift: Saturday-Monday 6pm-6am*
Starting Pay: $25.00 per hour*
  • (Shift Differential applicable for appropriate hours)
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
As a Senior Distribution Center Operations Associate (DC POINTGUARD) you will be responsible for:
  • Engage in problem solving within the facility to improve and simplify processes
  • Perform direct job codes as needed (i.e. retrieval, storage, shaving, receiving, restocking, selecting, packing, shipping etc.)
  • Ensure inventory integrity, customer order fulfillment, and a smooth flow of products through effective communication, including detailed manipulation of shipments, deliveries, or equipment in congruence with physical products/assets
  • Support projects to drive key performance metrics
  • Implement reporting in the system to supervise for incomplete orders
  • Reconcile incomplete orders in the warehouse management system
  • Use reporting tools (warehouse management system, WCS tool -conveyor tracking, etc.) to identify and isolate any exceptions
  • Identify, investigate, and troubleshoot exception(s) and take appropriate action to resolve the issue
  • Supervise to ensure the exception has been resolved and the order is moved to a shippable status
  • Collaborate with external partners
  • Collect and analyze information, prepare reports and make recommendations
  • Collaborate with carriers/drivers and handle the timely movement of shipments from the inbound process (check-in) to the outbound process (check-out) through the use of documentation, yard management system, and communication.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH
You will work with fellow operations associates, specialists, and various operation management teams.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • Minimum requirement 3 years of warehouse experience with a sound understanding of distribution center operations flow
  • Strong prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Extensive experience using the Warehouse Management System (WMOS)
  • Effective cross-and intra-departmental interpersonal skills through various mediums
  • Consistent track record to build and cultivate working business relationships
