Job Posting Occupational Therapy Assistant

The Village at Marymount has an immediate opening for a PRN/Weekends Occupational Therapy Assistant. Join a growing team of successful, happy caregivers and see why Nightingale Nursing & Rehab Center, is your dream job.

Educational Requirements/Experience:

Graduate of an accredited COTA Program

Current PA State COTA License

Experience is a plus

Duties are varied and include:

Measuring & recording Residents’ motor function, strength & muscle performance.

Assists occupational therapists in developing treatment plans.

Observe Residents and write progress reports.

Evaluate the capability of Residents to function independently.

Assist Residents in carrying out specific exercises.

Treat Residents with varieties of techniques.

Help Residents use necessary equipment and devices.

Educate Residents on how to exercise properly

Maintain Resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing.

Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.

Work cooperatively with the Nightingale team.

Take the extra mile and interact with residents as needed.
