Schedule: Part Time (15-20 hours/week), with the opportunity to increase hours and scope of responsibilities for the right candidate! Weekend and evening availability will be required. 

Compensation: Up to $25/hour depending on experience.

Night Shift Brewing is looking to add to our ever growing team this Beer Garden Season, by introducing a newly created Beer Garden Cartage role. The primary function of this role is to provide core and seasonal product transportation between the NSB Taproom in Everett and our three seasonal Beer Gardens (Esplanade, Herter Park and our newest venture, Dewey Square!).

While successful Beer Cartage relies on punctuality and adhering to a set delivery schedule, the Beer Cartage role is designed to appeal to independent operators who thrive on managing their time and workload with minimal oversight. 

Candidates looking for a career change, recent graduates, and folks excited to work in a non-traditional industry are encouraged to apply. As this is a physically demanding job with a significant driving component, prior experience with other manual labor and delivery-type jobs will make you stand out as a candidate!

What You’ll Do…

• Load and deliver cases, kegs and other core/seasonal product requests to our Beer Garden locations
• Collect empty Beer Garden (& Lovejoy Wharf) kegs and deliver to Everett Taproom (could require multiple trips)
• Pick up finished Lovejoy Wharf-produced beer and deliver to Everett Taproom as required
• Deliver clean kegs to our Lovejoy Wharf location as required
• Other duties as assigned

What You Have…

• Valid driver’s license (experience driving a Box Truck preferred)
• Experience as a responsible driver with an acceptable driving record
• Excellent time management skills
• Good social and customer service skills
• Knowledge of Night Shift policies, procedures and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive culture

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to operate a two handed truck 
• Lifting up to 55 pounds and moving up to 170 pounds
• Continuously reach, bend, lift, carry and stoop

Working Conditions & Requirements:

This role operates on-site at our Taproom and Beer Garden locations. As such, conditions may be:

• Hot and humid or cold
