Job Summary: Review, complete, and investigate capacity studies for internal requests and external customer requests for Nifco America Operations.
Essential Functions:
· Support capacity planning for internal and new model requests.
o Use data from the new model group and new quote system to support the NAM plant’s overall capacity plan that follows the company sourcing rules. Support decisions at the quotation level that follow the manufacturing strategy.
o Support meetings and discussions around press & equipment purchases and work with management to plan future capacity.
o Review current capacity in Assembly and Molding to ensure alignment to the company sourcing rules. Make recommendations for changes based on the sourcing rules direction and work with production and engineering departments to make proposals for changes.
o Perform studies from proposed customer changes from plant to plant & help develop request packets to moved locations.
· Review & complete capacity requests from customers.
o Complete all customer documents related to capacity requests
o Complete customer portal updates related to capacity requests
o Work with internal teams including production and engineering to ensure capacity increases and changes are feasible in order to plan for the capacity changes.
· All other duties as assigned
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or other field or 5 years’ experience in manufacturing.
Experience/Skills/Requirements:
· Be familiar with capacity planning in a production environment.
· Must be able to prioritize and meet stringent deadlines
· Excellent communications skills to interact effectively with all departments
· Must communicate proficiently in English (verbally and written) and interact well with Associates & other management members.
· Must be able to analyze data and organize in useful formats to use to make decisions.
· Must be able to use Excel or other electronic documents related to capacity planning and understand capacity management math and logic.
· Must be cooperative and work well in team environment
· Behave in a positive manner that enhances the success of the company

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
