Nieco is seeking an accomplished and dynamic Director of Operations to spearhead our operational strategies and initiatives in Windsor, CA. As the Director of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, streamlining efficiencies, and ensuring unparalleled quality across our product lines. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic vision, operational expertise, and leadership acumen to drive Nieco's operational excellence to new heights.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive operational strategies aligned with Nieco's business objectives, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations, driving efficiencies, reducing costs, and enhancing productivity without compromising quality.
  • Champion a culture of quality excellence, implementing rigorous quality control measures and standards to uphold Nieco's reputation for excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes, ensure timely procurement of materials, and maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive actionable insights.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards and safety protocols, promoting a safe and conducive working environment for all employees.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of at least 7 years in a senior leadership role within manufacturing operations, preferably in the industrial equipment or foodservice industry.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong commitment to quality, safety, and compliance.
  • Experience working within a unionized environment, with knowledge of labor relations, collective bargaining agreements, and grievance resolution processes.
