The Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for the design and ongoing management of critical information, systems, and assets. Building solutions, implement new software and hardware, and assist in the development of an overall IT strategy. Provide training and develop other team members. Provide technical thought leadership and application of best practices through the entire infrastructure stack – from network to cloud.

 As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will:

• Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, software, and hardware
• Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly
• Monitor datacenter and cloud environmental health using preexisting management tools and respond to issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers as needed
• Design and maintain internal infrastructure requirements including, servers, routers, switches, firewalls security updates; support internet, cloud, LANs, WANs, and network segments
• Interact with the help desk and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed
• Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all backups
• Implement and aid in maintaining several server technologies including, but not limited to, MS O365 – Exchange Online Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive - SQL, Active Directory, ADFS, SCCM, and Sharepoint
• Design and aid in maintaining virtual infrastructure 

Qualifications

• Technical Degree / Bachelor’s Degree in technology or related field preferred

• 6 Years of IT Experience is required. 
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, office and IBM compatible PC. Ability to effectively explain and problem-solve with customers over the phone and in person. Ability to comprehend and balance essential non-IT banking functions within the structure of IT departmental best practices. Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills. Self-motivated and resourceful with strong research skills. Ability to travel to different locations; some overnight travel may be required.
