Nicole True Law Firm, P.C. is a fast paced criminal defense and immigration law firm. We seek an immediate hire for full-time bilingual immigration removal defense legal assistant. Applicants must fluently speak, read, and write Spanish and English. This important position involves direct contact with clients.

Job duties include:

• Preparing motions, applications, and supplemental evidence in support of applications for relief from removal;
• Legal issue spotting;
• Researching legal issues and drafting memorandums of law;
• Interacting with clients for case preparation;
• Meeting deadlines for document filing;
• Working well with others and team building.

Skills required:

• Treating clients with dignity and respect;
• Effective oral and written communication in Spanish and English;
• Excellent time management;
• Ability to multi-task;
• Great attention to detail;
• Excellent legal research skills;
• Proficiency with Adobe Pro, Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Microsoft Word;
• Experience with case management system is preferred;
• Business casual dress is required.

Benefits:

• Stable work hours: Monday through Friday – 8:30am - 5:30pm
• Hourly pay range $18-$21 per hour depending on experience;
