Overview: We are seeking a skilled Sterilization Technician to join our team. As a Sterilization Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and cleanliness of our dental practice. Your attention to detail and adherence to infection control protocols will contribute to the overall success of our patient care. Duties: - Perform sterilization of dental instruments and equipment following established protocols - Prepare treatment rooms by ensuring all surfaces are disinfected and properly stocked - Assist dental professionals during procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation using Eaglesoft software - Adhere to strict infection control guidelines and maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures - Assist with dental assisting duties as needed, including taking medical imaging, recording vital signs, and providing patient education - Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow and efficient patient care - Maintain knowledge of CAD/CAM technology for digital dentistry purposes - Demonstrate a strong understanding of anatomy and dental terminology - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality Skills: - Proficiency in aseptic technique and infection control practices - Experience with medical documentation software, preferably Eaglesoft - Knowledge of dental assisting procedures and techniques - Familiarity with medical imaging equipment and techniques - Ability to accurately record vital signs and patient information - Understanding of CAD/CAM technology for digital dentistry purposes - Strong knowledge of anatomy and dental terminology - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
