Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Clerk/Forklift Driver

HIRING 2ND SHIFT ONLY: 3:00pm - 1:00am M-Th OT as needed

Job Purpose/Responsibilities: Performs in-plant operations utilizing forklift, such as loading and unloading trucks, moving raw and finished product to and from production areas, and placing items in designated areas in the warehouse.

• Locating, packaging, and shipping of finished goods to our customers, including attachment of all necessary documentation (certs, pack lists, labels, etc.)
• Receive work from customers for processing
• Safely operate a sit-down forklift through tight spaces & around employees
• Receive product from our vendors
• Station incoming work and document in warehouse for production
• In a timely manner, deliver scheduled orders to the production floor, pick up orders from production when complete, and return to the shipping department and prepare for shipment
• Load completed orders on trucks, ensuring all containers included on orders are included
• Receive in customer product in a manner to ensure it has a safe and secure location, and that order entry has correct paperwork or PO for all jobs to be entered.
• Maintain accurate and accessible records on incoming and outgoing product
• Assist Department Manager in all aspects, including coordinating UPS, delivery service, LTL shipments, and TORO ASN, as needed
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Specific Requirements:

• Good organizational skills and the ability to follow multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service position
• Ability to maintain a regular and reliable attendance record
• Consistent legible writing skills
• Basic typing and computer skills are helpful
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking the English language
• Ability to lift and move 1-70 lbs. as needed
• Ability to interact with customers, co-workers and supervisors in a cooperative manner
• Ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision

Work Schedule: 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM, Monday - Thursday OT as scheduled

HIRING FOR 2ND SHIFT ONLY

Pay Rate: $24.00 / hour

Signing Bonus: $1,500.00 - (Current employees are not eligible)
