Summary: Provides on-site inventory management. This individual will be responsible for managing inventory through the utilization of our software. Although somewhat independent, this is a team role.

Essential Functions:

• Puts orders into the software at appropriate times and follows up on any orders that have an open status and have not yet been received.
• Accurately performs efficient and accurate physical inventory transactions, including but not limited to: stocking items received, restock orders, parts disbursement, returns, inventory audits, and adjustments.
• Serves customers in the parts room and records disbursements.
• Properly scraps material physically and out of the software.
• Researches order problems such as backorders and slow shipments with outside vendors.
• Helps schedule and expedite delivery of ordered items in conjunction with maintenance department requirements.
• Maintains clean work and/or storage area(s) i.e.: cleans and maintains equipment and facilities, keeps signage and bin labeling up to date, etc.
• Handles and resolves concerns and understands when to appropriately escalate issues internally.
• Operates a forklift to unload incoming stock.

Education & Training:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Certification in forklift operation is a plus

Experience:

• 1 years experience in purchasing/parts room inventory/vendor relation preferred but not mandatory, willing to train the right individual.

Knowledge and Abilities:

• Ability to work as part of a crew.
• Must be a self-starter who can maintain pace.
• Proficient on a computer
• Strong written communication skills

Physical Requirements:

• Reaching high and low, stooping, and bending.
• Lifting/carrying/moving between 50-100 pounds.
• Able to concentrate in a busy and noisy construction environment.

Mental Requirements:

• Rational decision-making ability
• Attention to detail.
• Makes final decisions and assumes accountability for them.
• Ability to learn quickly and take on new responsibilities as needed.

Compensation:

The position has a compensation package inclusive of base, benefits, 401k contribution, time off, and more.

The hourly salary starts at $20.
