Nichols Portland, LLC is Hiring a CNC Programmer Near Portland, ME

Essential Functions:
  • Create and maintain CNC programs for EDM, Milling, and Jig Grinding.
  • Create and maintain CNC programs for 3 axis surface milling hardened tool steels.
  • Create and maintain Tooling Inspection Reports.
  • Create prototype routings and control plans.
  • Program, operate and maintain 3d printers.
  • Create product drawings in collaboration with engineering.
  • Administer drawing files in a Product Data Management (PDM) environment.
Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor, Powermill, EDGECAM or comparable CAD/CAM software.
  • Working knowledge of G and M codes
  • Proficiency with Excel
Job related demands (i.e. physical, travel):
  • Ability to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment with rapid changes in priority.
  • Ability to work at a computer workstation for extended periods.
