This position will complete checklists on all types of machinery, mostly heavy equipment. We are looking for an experienced operator with mechanical experience/knowledge. Any application that does not have both types of experience will be automatically discarded.

POSITION RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Complete checklists on all machines.
• Test and identify issues on all machines.
• Recommend services that need to be completed on all machines.
• Open work orders as directed and maintains control until closed and invoiced.
• Accounts for all time on a time card and for all material used in performing assigned duties
• Handles repair order charges, warranty validation & claims coverage’s including computation of charges, submission and follow-up
• Maintains the service library with information that is current
• Handles service department filing and records
• Updates customer profiles using equipment, hours or other information from the customer work orders
• Maintains a clean and safe work area and cares for shop tools and equipment assigned to the technician
• Maintains accessories and supplies and prepares replacement orders with proper approval

• Great customers through answering phone, research of parts and processing orders
• Responsible for quoting all research and accurate pricing of parts
• Responsible for researching, locating and ordering parts to ensure correct parts will be delivered in a timely manner to complete the job
• Building and maintaining parts inventory as it pertains to stock, quantity and location
• Responsible for shipping and receiving of all parts
• Responsible for stock and pulling parts
• Enter receiving parts into inventory on the computer
• Accurately record purchase orders
• Match and file invoices and purchase orders
• Maintain a clean and organized parts room
• Manage inventory on shop parts and service vehicle parts
• Open and close IRO’s in the computer

• Assist in handling customer complaints and concerns.
• Be aware of and track “comebacks” and make sure the problem is corrected to the customer and dealership’s satisfaction
• Greet, demonstrate and maintain positive relationships with all employees and treat customers fairly, courteously and with dignity
• Ability to negotiate customer complaints to a satisfactory resolution

• Maintain regular communication with VP of Production, Director of Operations and all team members
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Focus on quality and service
• Present yourself in professional manner; appropriate clothing attire, personal hygiene and appearance
• Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing a safe work environment and take an active role in maintaining safe work environment

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum high school/GED education and prefer three years of experience in construction industry and customer service
• Better than average math skills
• Must be flexible and highly organized with the ability to work independently
• Must be honest, respectful and trustworthy and demonstrate sound work ethics
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to learn
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Exhibit a cheerful presence and teamwork skills
• Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office Word and Excel

• Must be able to pass background check at time of hire

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 45 per week
