Nicholas Development is Hiring an In House Commercial Leasing Consultant Near Alexandria, VA

Nicholas Development is seeking a highly motivated and experienced In House Commercial Leasing Agent to join our full-service real estate company, devolvement, construction, and property management team in Alexandria, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, with a focus on commercial leasing and leasing acquisitions. This position can develop into an Asset Manager position for a family owned company.

Responsibilities:

-Handle all inbound leads.

- Manage all aspects of commercial property leasing, including marketing direct and outside relators.

- Oversee lease renewals and ensure timely communication with tenants regarding lease terms and options.

- Develop and implement leasing strategies to maximize occupancy and rental income.

- Conduct property tours for prospective tenants and showcase available spaces.

- Maintain positive relationships with tenants and promptly respond to new inquiries.

- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure properties are well-maintained and in compliance with regulations.

- Monitor market trends and competition to make informed decisions regarding rental rates and lease terms.

-Help negotiate acquisitions and leases.

- Prepare LOIs, leasing agreements, extensions, renewals, and amenities.

-Create and update rent rolls and property extracts.

Requirements:

- 3 years of experience in real estate operations with a focus on commercial leasing. COMMERCIAL LEASING IS A MUST!

- Strong knowledge of leasing processes, lease negotiations, and lease administration.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Property Management, or related field (preferred).
