Position: Channel Marketing Manager (Commercial)

Position Summary:

The Channel Marketing Manager (Commercial) is responsible for driving growth and expansion in the commercial sectors, including healthcare, education, office buildings, quick-service restaurants, retail, and convenience stores. This role focuses on strategic market penetration and the development of strong relationships with key partners such as architects, general contractors, and installers, as well as direct engagement with owners and developers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop targeted marketing strategies for each key vertical within the commercial sector, understanding the unique needs and buying behaviors of each group.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key channel partners including architects, contractors, installers, owners, and developers to increase market intimacy, enhance collaboration and drive market penetration.
  • Ensure close alignment with the sales organization, coordinating marketing strategies with sales activities to optimize effectiveness and reach.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats within the commercial sector.
  • Formulate robust market entry and expansion strategies, leveraging insights to tailor approaches to diverse commercial environments.
  • Design and implement impactful marketing programs that effectively communicate value propositions and engage target audiences across multiple channels.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies, using data to drive decisions and adapt tactics for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive marketing experience within the building materials industry, particularly in commercial markets.
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of in-depth market analysis and insight generation.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively influence and collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of proactive project management and cross-functional teamwork.
  • Ability to think strategically while executing tactically within a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • High proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and CRM systems; understanding of analytics platforms preferred.
  • Proven track record of adapting new technologies to solve practical business challenges.
  • Demonstrable experience in applying generative AI tools for enhancing business processes, specifically in marketing strategies, planning, and project management.

Education/Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years in marketing, with significant experience in commercial channels.
