NICE Recovery Systems is Hiring an Assembly Technician III Near Boulder, CO

SUMMARY

As an Assembly Technician III at NICE Recovery Systems you will be a key contributor to our medical device manufacturing team. You will learn all aspects of our products and be able to build, troubleshoot and service product in a dynamic and fast-growing environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct involvement in document control processes
  • Understands and follows quality record requirements
  • Knows locations of controlled documents related to production
  • Direct involvement in process control activities
  • Assemble electromechanical assemblies/devices following written procedures and using a variety of hand tools
  • Inspect and tests electromechanical assemblies/devices following written procedures
  • Troubleshoot assemblies/devices and make necessary repairs
  • Program electronic memory devices following written procedures
  • Record First Pass Yield data
  • Complete applicable portions of the Device History Record (DHR)
  • Review DHR packets and traceability records for completeness and accuracy prior to Quality Review
  • Package finished goods and accessories
  • Verify tools calibration and preventative maintenance is current prior to using the tools
  • Follow the company’s safety and quality guidelines
  • Train and mentor new Assembly Operators
  • Use proper ESDS procedures in the handling and storage of ESD sensitive materials
  • Segregate nonconforming materials and notifies Production Supervisor or Line Lead
  • Put away parts delivered to the line
  • Notify Production Supervisor or Line Lead of part shortages
  • Report any inconsistences or equipment issues

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • When needed help test, troubleshoot, and repair returned units in the Service Department.
  • Assist Line Lead or Production Supervisor with printing the Device History Record (DHR) forms from the Document Control System.
  • Assist Line Lead or Production Supervisor with pulling small parts and hardware to the production line.
  • Assembles R&D electrical and mechanical assemblies/prototypes following responsible engineer’s direction
  • Provide feedback to and suggestions for improvement of R&D electrical and mechanical assemblies/prototypes
  • Communicate ideas for improvement to Executive Management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

None

COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:

  • Proficient with the use of hand tools associated with assembly
  • Proficient with the use of test equipment to included multimeters, power supplies, and similar
  • Proper ESDS procedures
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow written procedures
  • Understanding of FDA/ISO work environment as it relates to incident reporting, nonconforming materials procedures, and equipment calibration.
  • Personal computer skills
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
  • Aptitude for math, problem-solving, computers, and mechanics
  • Knowledge of basic safety rules and precautionary measures
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred 5 years of experience in assembly, test, and troubleshooting box build
  • Preferred 2 years working in FDA or ISO regulated quality system environment

  • The employee must be able to communicate clearly and concisely utilizing both written and verbal communication.
  • The employee must occasionally handle or move up to 50 pounds.
  • The employee must regularly perform repetitive tasks.
  • The employee possesses manual dexterity to put parts and pieces together quickly and accurately.
  • The employee must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

Pay: $58,000.00 - $66,000.00 per year
