Provides prompt and courteous service to all customers and performs maintenance, housekeeping and food service merchandise duties according to the operating standard of the company.
Requires an individual who relates well with people and leaves a good impression on customers. Employee must have basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, gasoline console and cash and inventory control procedures. Employee must be able to understand written directions and correspondence.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to)
• Responsible for all cash, merchandising, and equipment at the facility during the assigned shift.
• Responsible and accountable for money received and disbursed during their respective shift either in the form of cash, credit cards, authorized checks or any other acceptable form of payment.
• Responsible for preparing required forms and reports for cash and inventory control during their respective shifts.
• Understands, operates, cleans and maintains the facility and all its equipment in a safe and effective manner.
• Provides prompt and courteous customer service according to the operating standards of the company.
• Will be responsible for merchandising the facility according to the operating standards of the company.
• Understands and follows all general rules, company operating standards, and local state, and federal laws that apply.
• Will perform other duties as may be directed by supervisors.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures manuals. Ability to write and possess the ability to speak effectively
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for prolonged periods; work longer than eight (8) hour shifts, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk and hear, taste and smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus. Employee may have to move or relocate pieces of equipment, as well as move products from the freezer, refrigerator or storage area. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
