Pay Range: $17.79 - $31.25/hour

Position Summary:

Department Leaders will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process and ensuring that production runs safely, smoothly, and efficiently. They will have strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to lead a team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain a self-sufficient team built on trust, empowerment, and a win-win approach to business.
• Oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process, including but not limited to planning, scheduling, engineering, human resources, and automation.
• Ensure that production is running smoothly, efficiently, and safely.
• Lead a team, providing guidance, coaching, and support as needed.
• Develop and implement strategies to build skills and overcome obstacles.
• Manage the department budget and ensure that expenses are kept within budget.
• Work with all other departments to ensure that production meets quality standards and customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of production output, quality, and other relevant data.
• Implement and maintain safety protocols and ensure that all employees are following safety guidelines.
• Identify and troubleshoot production problems and develop solutions to address them.

Skills & Abilities:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, and quality control.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols.
• Willingness to teach, grow, and learn.
