NHC Place Sumner - Medication Aide Program
The Medication Aide Program is a 4 week class designed to teach current CNA's medication administration and equip them with the knowledge necessary to sit for the Medication Aide certification exam. The program includes a 25 hour review of Anatomy & Physiology, Basic Math Metrics, Classroom theory, Lab practice/demonstration and on-site clinical practice.
To qualify, candidates must be 18 years of age or older, have a High School Diploma or GED, must be a full time CNA for a minimum of 1 year in no more than 2 facilities at the time of program completion, a fully completed application, two letters of professional reference, a face to face interview, a background check, and a signed agreement to NHC policies and procedures.
**Cost of the program $3000 per person**
