Responsibilities:Generate and/or manage BIM models for electrical raceway and telecommunication installationRun interference detection to detect design clashes to assist project team with coordination processAttend weekly coordination meetings and submit weekly updates to Construction management firm. Adjust BIM models as directed by Construction Management firm and track changes to coordinate with Project Manager for change order pricing if requiredCreate, collect and process various 2D drawings of released areas for field constructionManage 3D models for design coordination and submission for approval by Construction Management firmWork on-site to update the models to reflect as-built conditions Assist the project team with model visualizations Provide project team with updated construction drawings as bulletins are released by Construction Management firmManage and use BIM modeling software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, NavisWorks)Manage and use coordination, scheduling, programming, file sharing and collaboration platforms.Update model as required by bulletins released by Construction Management firmWork directly with Project Managers to obtain cut sheets on submitted equipment for modeling and submit RFIs as neededDevelop length and quantity take-offs for material orderingCorrespond regularly with Construction Management firm and other Subcontractors Obtain electronic files as needed for model coordinationUpdate drawing sets as bulletins are approved and released for construction Mentor staffQualificationsREQUIREMENTS:EDUCATION:Bachelor’s degree and two years minimum experience working in a construction, engineering or architect role or equivalent training, education and/or experience.EXPERIENCE:BIM experience requiredExcellent interpersonal skillsKnowledge of construction, engineering, procurement, industry standards, and other project-related activities, their interfaces and interdependencies.Excellent written and oral communicationAbility to read and understand construction drawings and specificationsSoftware experience with NavisWorks, AutoCAD 2018, Revit 2015 (highly preferred)Experience with Microsoft Office SuitePrior experience with electrical design is a plusAdditional InformationAbout nfrastructure:nfrastructure partners with the world’s most admired brands to design, build, and operate infrastructure and applications for digital business.
