NFI Industries is Hiring a Kronos Technical Analyst Near Camden, NJ
The Kronos Technical Analyst is part of the HRIS team responsible for defining, configuring/developing, testing, analyzing, and maintaining the Kronos Workforce Central, including Timekeeping, Scheduling, Attendance, and Analytics application and future modules. This includes working with the HR/HRIS business to gather requirements, configuring solutions within Kronos, writing interfaces in Workforce Integration Manager (WIM), and testing, analyzing, and supporting Kronos. This would include the research, design, documentation, and modification of software specifications throughout the production life cycle.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Lead the planning and testing of application and database changes, installation of upgrades, patches, and new versions, interacting with Development, Business Process Owners, and Infrastructure teams.
Resolves functional performance/operational issues.
Create training documentation as it relates to the NFI’s processes and practices.
Provide intermediate to expert level Kronos Application functional support.
Assist users with problems and resolve issues independently.
Create test plans, test cases, and test scripts and perform functional testing
Create and maintain system documentation.
Work with existing systems to track and manage requests and issues.
Analyze, design, develop, test, and deploy system configuration at an intermediate to expert level.
Assist with projects as may be required to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the work.
Implement high-quality, scalable, and extendable solutions using Kronos while adhering to established best practices
Assist in the maintenance and support of Kronos including monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance analysis in a 24X7 environment
Collaborate in a team environment and independently with vendors, business partners, and technology teams on projects, support, application development and standardization
Collaborate with internal & external partners to update or create interfaces in WIM
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or another related field.
5 years of technical experience/ knowledge of HRIS applications
Minimum 5 years configuration experience with Kronos WorkForce Central
Experience in UKG Pro is desired but not required
Expert ability to set up new pay rules, accruals & PTO policies. In-depth knowledge of advanced scheduling.
Ability to build hyperlinks, data views & reports to support business needs
Skilled with SQL and other query tools
Working knowledge of software development and support methodologies
Demonstrated skill in the preparation and maintenance of implementation documents.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
Thorough understanding of essential business functions to translate business requirements into system configurations.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability and initiative to learn and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies quickly.
Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Willingness and ability to train and teach other application users.
Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
