Nexus Talent Connect is Seeking Attorney to join a thriving firm offering Remote/Hybrid!

Are you an experienced attorney with a passion for municipal law? Do you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment? We are seeking a talented attorney with 3-5 years of experience in municipal law to join the team remotely. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide high-quality legal advice and representation to municipal clients.
  • Handle a variety of municipal law matters, including land use and zoning, public contracts, public finance, and code enforcement.
  • Draft and review ordinances, resolutions, contracts, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in administrative hearings, trials, and appellate proceedings.
  • Conduct legal research and stay current on developments in municipal law.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, staff, and clients to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar.
  • 3-5 years of experience practicing municipal law.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience representing public agencies, municipalities, or local government entities.
  • Familiarity with land use and zoning regulations in California.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating public contracts.
  • Experience with public finance and bond transactions.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $192,000 - $210,000, commensurate with your stellar track record and boundless potential.
  • Full Time (Hybrid/Remote) Position - 90% remote, 10% training & court hearings
