Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Consultation: Initiate and conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their goals and objectives.
  • Strategic Planning: Analyze client needs and devise tailored strategies to achieve their estate planning objectives, providing expert recommendations on trust types when necessary.
  • Document Creation: Skillfully draft a range of estate planning documents, including wills, various trusts, and supplementary paperwork.
  • Clear Communication: Effectively communicate complex legal concepts and intricacies of the estate plan to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Deadline Management: Demonstrate initiative in prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and effectively managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Regularly liaise with clients, accountants, financial advisors, and other relevant parties to ensure smooth progress and resolution of cases.
  • Client Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with current and prospective clients through consistent and timely communication to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Case Reporting: Provide detailed updates on caseload during weekly review meetings to facilitate transparency and team collaboration.
  • Business Development: Contribute to the firm's growth by developing a loyal client base and increasing revenue through exceptional service and expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Legal Credentials: Possess a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and be licensed with the California State Bar.
  • Experience: Preferred 3 years of experience in estate planning, encompassing client meetings, strategy development, and document preparation.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills, adapting to various situations and client needs.
  • Financial Acumen: Exhibit a working knowledge of finance, investments, and taxes to provide comprehensive estate planning advice.
  • Resilience: Ability to remain focused under pressure and willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Ethical Standards: Uphold discretion, confidentiality, and integrity in handling client information, adhering to professional codes of conduct.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including experience with MS Office Suite, timekeeping, and case management software. Familiarity with Wealth Counsel drafting is advantageous.
  • Additional Assets: Tax experience or CPA certification is beneficial. A transferable book of business is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $140,000 - $150,000 annual salary

Schedule and Location:

  • Full-time based in Murrieta, CA
  • Stable Monday to Friday work schedule
