Armed Security Officers Job Description:
- Follow post orders
- Foot Patrols
- Report all incidents, accidents or medical emergencies
- Respond to emergencies, such as medical, bomb threats, fire and intrusion by following emergency response procedures
- Ability to handle daily and crisis situations efficiently and effectively at client site
- Provide direction and assistance to tenants and authorized visitors on the property.
- Notify dispatch and local law enforcement for suspicious activity and unauthorized tenants on the premises.
- Be aware for theft, fire and water leaks throughout the property.
- Provide excellent customer service to customers
- Ability to stand extended periods of time throughout the day/ night
Requirements:
- Must be able to work on weekends & Holyday's
- MUST HAVE: Valid D and G License
- Clean Criminal History and ability to pass FDLE & FBI Background check.
- Must have valid up to date Driver's License
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- BE ABLE TO WORK FLEXIBLE HOURS.
- Must complete any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing.
- Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
- Ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Active listening skills
- Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively.
- Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work well with others and be an effective team member.

- Any Unarmed Security Experience
- Any Armed Security Experience
- 1 Year of Experience in Law Enforcement
- 1 Year of Experience in the Military
- 1 Year of Experience in Corrections
- 1 Year of Experience as a Firefighter or EMT
