Nexus MedPro has immediate openings for LVNs in the Glendale, CA area.
Summary:
- Serves as a Licensed Vocational Nurse for a Skilled Nursing Facility.
Professional Experience Requirements:
- For Skilled Nursing Facility- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is required.
Responsibilities:
- Performs designated job duties under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse while maintaining the LVN scope of practice.
- Participates in the development of an individualized interdisciplinary plan of care.
- Implements the individualized interdisciplinary plan of care according to biophysical, psycho-social, and age-specific needs.
- Monitor patient/resident outcomes and report abnormal findings to the Assistant Clinical Manager/Supervisor.
- Administers specified medications according to established standards and policies.
- Documents patient's status according to the unit-specific procedure.
- Maintains educational requirements as required by the California Board of Vocational and Psychiatric Technicians.
- Documents according to federal and state regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned while maintaining the LVN scope of practice.
Education Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited LVN school of nursing.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
- Current CA State LVN license.
Professional Experience Requirements:
- Current BLS certification.
- Negative TB Test.
- Valid Drivers license.
- Covid Card.
