Location: Place of work may vary, including NECC Commands, OCONUS locations and contractor locations. 20% travel is expected

NexThreat is currently searching for a skilled and committed System Administrator Support Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and troubleshooting our client’s information systems and networks. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the seamless integration of system administration support and overall system functionality across various departments and units. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot various Microsoft, Red Hat Linux (RHEL 5/6), and Operating System products within approved ATO accreditation boundaries 

· Plan and schedule installations of hardware, operating systems, and software applications 

· Administer system accounts, privileges, and access to systems and equipment 

· Troubleshoot system outages and problems on daily basis 

· Administer system resources, updates, patches, and enhancements 

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in a technical or managerial discipline preferred 

· Greater than five (5) years of practical experience in system administration or related field 

· U.S. citizenship and SECRET security clearance required 

Certifications:

· Hold a DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II Certification
