This is a Dual role; Part time Employment Specialist and part time Direct Support Professional

Responsibilities:

- Provide oversight when the Individual is at home in the mornings

- Conduct interviews and assessments to determine individuals' employment needs and goals

- Provide guidance and support to individuals with disabilities, addiction issues, or other barriers to employment

- Develop individualized employment plans and strategies

- Assist individuals in job search activities, including resume writing, job applications, and interview preparation

- Collaborate with employers to identify job opportunities and facilitate job placements

- Provide ongoing support and mentoring at work and at home.

- Transport Individual to Volunteer location, medical appointment etc.

Qualifications:

- Experience in interviewing, mentoring, or counseling individuals

- Familiarity with working with people with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Certified Medication Technician / Willing to obtaining the certification

- CPR/First Aid
