This position sits within the Power Generation Division which is responsible for all of NextEra Energy's non-nuclear generation operations, exceeding 40,000 megawatts (MW) of installed capacity.
Position is based out of Neptune Solar near Pueblo, CO.
Position is responsible for operation and maintenance for solar collection assemblies on multiple solar power plants to achieve safe, efficient, and environmentally sound plant operations.
Maintains all tools, shops, vehicles, and all work locations in a safe and efficient condition. Provides inspection of watch, electrical, mechanical, and electronic trouble shooting for a solar field and pipeline.
Inspection is performed daily for fluid system breaches, mechanical component breakage or misalignment and electrical component failures preventing a collector or groups of collectors from tracking.
Job may include other misc duties as assigned.
