Position Specific Description

This position sits within the Power Generation Division which is responsible for all of NextEra Energy's non-nuclear generation operations, exceeding 40,000 megawatts (MW) of installed capacity.

This position will be based out of Desert Sunlight Solar located in Desert Center, CA.

Position is responsible for operation and maintenance for solar PV collection assemblies, battery energy storage, AC / DC inverters on multiple solar power plants to achieve safe, efficient, and environmentally sound plant operations.

Inspection is performed daily for fluid system breaches, mechanical component breakage or misalignment and electrical component failures preventing inverters from producing grid power.

Job will include other misc duties as assigned. Travel to other nearby sites will be required.
