Nextant is looking for a driven Researcher 2 to join our client team. The main function of a Researcher is to write technical materials, such as equipment materials, appendices, or operating and maintenance instructions. A typical technical writer is responsible for organizing, editing and maintaining technical records and files.

Job Responsibilities:

• Organize material and complete writing assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology
• Maintain records and files of work and revisions
• Confer with the client to establish technical specifications and to determine the subject material to be developed for publication

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science or english, journalism, communications
• 2-4 years experience required
• Previous Microsoft experience
• Minimum 2-3 years experience with MSFT365 - Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook
• Minimum 2-3 years experience with MSFT Office - Sharepoint and Teams
• Minimum 2-3 years experience with Data entry or database management
• Experience in in creating documentation for a technical audience
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
• Ability to read some programming code
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Pay Rate:

The annual salary range for this position is $73,000.00 - $81,000.00 in Washington State. Please note that the salary range is a general guideline. Nextant considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills, and other market and business considerations when extending an offer.
