Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Infant Teacher to join our team. As a Infant Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow. Your role will involve implementing age-appropriate curriculum, fostering social and emotional development, and promoting a love for learning.
Duties:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and promote educational growth in areas such as math, language, science, and physical education
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and engagement
- Provide individualized attention and support to students to meet their unique learning needs
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration
- Utilize behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior and create a respectful classroom culture
- Assess student progress through observation, assessments, and evaluations
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate special events and parent-teacher conferences
Experience:
- Previous experience working with infant age children is preferred
- Familiarity with childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong knowledge of behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using educational technology tools for teaching purposes
