Next Level Technician is Hiring a Fire alarm technician Near Burnsville, NC

Next Level Technician is seeking Fire Alarm Technicians in North Carolina. Candidates that are highly motivated and ready to work in a hands-on environment are encouraged to explore this opportunity!

Our technicians work primarily on commercial and industrial jobsites . Candidates seeking consideration for this role should be experienced in the installation and servicing of fire alarm systems from various manufacturers.

Experience in programming fire alarm systems is strongly preferred.

Next Level Technician offers weekly pay, PTO, medical benefits, and the opportunity for a signing bonus. OSHA, BICSI, and Aerial Lift certifications are preferred but not required.

The Fire Alarm Technician is to provide support to the Service department and the customers we assist with their low voltage issues.

Responsibilities :

The Fire Alarm Technician is responsible for customer coordination in the field and repair of all systems and customer training.

They shall work with the Service Coordinator and Service Manager to help schedule onsite resources, and ensure equipment and materials are correct and onsite when needed.

The Service Technician must also communicate well with internal and external customers.

Service and some installation of conduit, wire, and devices for various low voltage systems, mainly focusing on fire alarm

Qualifications :

  • 5 years minimum of demonstrated work history / knowledge as a service technician is required. NICET certification in Fire Alarm Systems is preferred, but not required.
  • Understanding NEC and NFPA current requirements is essential.
  • Experienced in troubleshooting panels, devices, and program various systems including, but not limited to, Notifier, Firelite, Silent Knight, Lenel, Open Options, DSX, Milestone, Salient, and DMP to name a few.

They shall perform onsite review of previous repairs and quality control.

FASA / BASA license or NICET is preferred
