A Day in the Life of the Construction Estimator:

  • Responsible for leading preconstruction and estimating efforts
  • Estimates include small to large-scale commercial and multi-family projects
  • Must produce detailed quantity take-offs and have Hard Bid experience
  • Produce accurate cost estimates from high-level concept estimate through detailed construction documents
  • Proven experience in material and equipment prices and various labor rates

Your blueprint for success:

  • Bachelors' degree in construction or related industry
  • 5 years of estimating experience
  • Conceptual estimating experience with a General Commercial Contractor
  • Proficient with MS Office (Project) and Procore
