JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-
Electrophysiology Lab Tech
EP LAB TECH
Full-Time
Electrophysiology Lab Tech candidates will have the following job responsibilities:
- Assisting the physician in performance of invasive electrophysiology procedures, maintaining all EP Lab equipment, and administering direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures, providing care during established procedures and sedation for patients
- Performs advanced level EP Mapping for cases
- Additionally will serve as subject matter expert in challenging and difficult cases by providing guidance to fellow EP lab techs in the proper operation of equipment and procedures used in the EP Laboratory
Number of beds in unit/unit size; Bays: 21 in pre/post op, 6 Cath lab procedure rooms and 3 EP procedure rooms. It takes up entire 3rd floor in the heart hospital.
Clinician/patient ratio; Team 3:1/Stemi 4:1
JOB QUALIFICATIONS-

Electrophysiology Lab Tech candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications:
- Educational, certification and/or licensure requirements;
- Rad Tech: ARRT, certifications within 18 months w/ reimbursement provided
- Cardiac Interventional Technologist: ACLS and BLS
- EP: : ARRT, KY operators license, ACLS, and BLS
Relocation fee and applicable details; Up to $10K for relocation
- $20k retention package to these employees for a two-year commitment. 5K in first check, 5k at end of 1 year. 10k at end of year two.
- Additionally, we will offer a 5k bonus to the vendor at the end of 1 year.
Salary and shift differential pay;
o Cath/EP Lab $33.61-$52.10 / Shift Diff: $4.40/8.00 per hour call pay
o Cardiovascular $31.41-$48.69 / Shift Diff: $4.40
