Job Description

Data Architect plays a critical role in implementing, designing, and managing the organization s data architecture to ensure efficient data storage, analysis, and retrieval. They are responsible for developing strategies to address the organization s data requirements, ensuring data integrity, availability, and security. This role requires collaboration closely with various stakeholders including data scientists, engineers, analysts, and business leaders to understand the requirements and design scalable and optimized data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:Designing and implementing the organization s data architecture to support business objectives and data-driven decision-makingDeveloping data models, schemas, and dictionaries to ensure consistency and standardization across the organizationEvaluation and selecting appropriate technologies and tools for data storage, processing, and analysisEstablishing data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulationsCollaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translating them into technical specificationsOverseeing the implementation of data pipelines and data ingestion, transformation, and loadingPerforming data analysis, profiling, and optimization to identify opportunities for performance improvementProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members on data architecture best practices
Requirements:Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldProven experience working as a Data Architect or in a similar roleStrong background and knowledge of database technologies especially SQL 2016, 2019 and data modeling techniquesHands-on experience with data large datasets and warehousing solutionsProficiency in programming languages used for data manipulation and analysis (e.g., Python, JSON)Strong understanding of data governance principles, data security, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data servicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsAnalytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems and optimize data architecture for performance and scalability
